Welcome

We welcome you and your children to our Goetheallee Campus where the Early Years Program (EYP) at DIS is delivered to you by a passionate and dedicated team of teachers. Each and every day’s program provides a stimulating, enriching and fun learning environment for the students. They are challenged to reach their intellectual, emotional, physical and ethical potential in an environment that is warm, supporting, and caring.

Each child is respected and loved for their own unique personality and ‘gifts’.
The children regularly visit their own school library, take books home for sharing, and attend weekly physical education/sport activities with our DIS PE Specialists. Daily, they enjoy the spacious, well-equipped playground environment and the adjoining Waldpark at Goetheallee, where they are able to explore, experiencing and appreciating the world in which they live.

Children participate in memorable learning experiences as part of our inquiry learning program when we take visits to the many facets of our city and surounding environment. These can include museums, parks, and places of work.

The arts are an integral part of our program and daily singing is enjoyed by the whole school. Drama, dance and song are performed at festivals throughout the year. Children’s colorful and creative artworks are proudly displayed around our beautiful, historic villa.

Education is a partnership.
Together, the school, family, and the student combine their knowledge, skills, and wisdom to ensure that optimal learning for the student is embraced. Together we prepare our children to be successful, inquiring, knowledgeable and ethical world citizens of the future.

Memorable learning experiences are forever.
We welcome you to ‘our special place’ at the Goetheallee 18 of Dresden International School.
