Overview
Our preschool program or Early Years Program (EYP) for children age 2 to 5 appreciates and understands how important each and every child is. From age 3 on we teach the Early Years Program (EYP) which is the first part of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program.
We are planning to start an Early Years Program for children age 1 in August 2013. At the moment we do accept applications for this age group.
The key elements of that program are:
- English as language of instruction (language skills not pre-requisite)
- Small classes with personalized care
- Care from 7:30 am until 6 pm; program from 8:45 am until 3:15 pm, on Tuesdays early release at 2:20 pm
- Highly qualified, bilingual preschool teachers and assistants
- An emphasis on learning by doing
- A partnership with parents including regular feedback on student progress and needs
- narrative reports issued twice per year
- Well-equipped library and classrooms
